maia [may  ahis a multidisciplinary early career artist, composer and theatre maker. At 24, she has won awards, released multiple albums and produced various highly-acclaimed theatre projects.
Her practice interweaves field recording, synthesis, and live performance, with a strong emphasis on devising, creative collaboration and improvisation. She also writes for spoken word.
maia is an associate artist at Brave Mirror Productions, an exciting emerging theatre company with a focus on platforming other early-career artists in London and Bristol. Read more about Brave Mirror >> here <<
She is also a filmmakeranimator and videographer. She has worked as a sound recordistsound designer, music editor, line editor, and production assistant across various high-budget productions. Her work on climate communications has been shown at various conferences including UNGA, COP26 and COP27.
